For customers requiring Phone Call Tracking our service provides affordable and easily procurable trackable phone numbers with live online call reporting available from within your Mongoose Metrics account. This service is ideal for anyone wishes to measure the effectiveness of their phone call marketing campaigns or for SEO/SEM agents wishing to sell phone call leads.
Offline Phone Call Tracking with Web Analytics Integration
Our offline phone call tracking builds upon our call tracking service but adds integration with any on-page tagging web analytics report. This can extend to PPC campaigns and measurement of PPC ROI. Mongoose Metrics customers login to their existing 3rd party web analytics package, such as Google Analytics™, and can view offline phone call tracking and conversion alongside the rest of their web metric data. Again, there's no need to login to Mongoose Metrics to view call tracking. Mongoose Metrics works with any on-page tagging service and supports such vendors as Omniture™, Google Analytics™, Coremetrics™, ClickTracks™ and WebTrends™. How Does Mongoose Metrics Offline Phone Call Tracking integrate with my analytics package?
First, a hidden web page containing your analytics on-page tagging code must be placed somewhere on your web site. This hidden tracking page should be used only Mongoose Metrics. Next, procure a unique tracking number through the Mongoose Metrics account. This step takes only a few seconds and numbers can be dialed live instantly. Upon set-up of the tracking number, enter the URL to your hidden tracking web page. When the Mongoose Metrics trackable phone number is dialed, as part of the call connection process the Mongoose Metrics Phone Server will initiated an automated browser visit back to your hidden tracking page. In this way, the phone call event is injected into your web analytics package. Depending upon which web analytics package customers use, the ability to detailed information about the call campaign can be passed into your package such as campaign, keyword, and medium.
What is the cost of Mongoose Metrics Call Tracking Services?
Our base pricing is a monthly $5 fee per trackable phone number as well as a call connection fee of $.50 per call. Accounts which expect to hold 20 trackable numbers or more per month can request volume discount pricing. For additional pricing information please visit our pricing page.
How do I know my unique trackable phone number has not already published somewhere else in the past and that it's not going to be called by someone I'm not targeting as part of my advertising and marketing?
We sweep the phone number pool and only include phone numbers which are clean and have had no call activity for the past 90 days. Unlike traditional Ma Bell phone numbers which have been in circulation for years, the vast majority of unique trackable numbers offered through VOIP carriers have never been published before are first time use phone numbers.
Does Mongoose Metrics Offer Toll Free Phone Numbers?
Yes. In addition to the over 250,000 local U.S. and Canadian phone numbers available for instant procurement, Mongoose Metrics can provide account holders with toll free tracking numbers.
How long before my number is activated?
Local and Toll Free Numbers will be activated automatically. Typically activation takes less than 5 minutes
for local phone numbers and 1 hour to 24 hours for toll free numbers.

Caller Identification. What happens if your system is not able to find caller identification because the listing is unpublished/unavailable?
If we cannot find the data to deliver you the subscriber information, we will not charge you for that lookup.
Service Pricing & Billing Questions
How do I cancel a unique trackable phone number in my account and are there cancellation charges?
Through your user account console you can automatically cancel any unique trackable phone numbers. Because you pre-pay monthly for the right to hold this number exclusively in your account, there are no cancellation charges or service commitments of any kind. When you cancel your unique trackable phone number, the service will immediately be deactivated This avoids any further call connection charges should a call be placed to your number.
What happens if my account balance reaches zero or goes below what's needed to pay for a call connection charge?
If your account reaches zero or falls below the balance required for your call connection charge according to your pricing plan, then the call will not go through. Since the call connection will not be made, you will not be billed. To help you avoid a low balance that would cause an interruption in your marketing campaign or SEO activities a low balance email alert will be emailed to you requesting that you add funds to your account.
What happens if my account balance reaches zero or is below what's needed to pay for my monthly unique trackable phone number charges?
When you hold a unique trackable number in your account, every month you will be billed for that number. If your account reaches below the 2.00 level required per phone number on the day of the billing renewal, then any calls places to that number will not be connected. If after 14 days you do not add funds to your account, the number will automatically be cancelled and put back in the phone number pool and ultimately made available for purchase by other customers. If your trackable numbers are running in active marketing campaigns it is essential you maintain a sufficient account balance. Email alerts will notify you of low balances.
With my credit card on file, will Mongoose Metrics ever bill my card directly?
No. Mongoose Metrics will never directly charge your credit card even if you have a low or zero balance. The only time your card is charged is when you yourself manually add additional funds to your account. Keep your account passcode private as the only person who can add funds to your account is you.
